Moritz was honored among the “30 Under 30” (Forbes), “35 Under 35” (Business Insider), and “40 Under 40” (Capital) for his contributions at the interface of Wall Street and Silicon Valley; studied at Stanford, Harvard, Oxford, Cambridge, and Peking University on full-ride scholarships; and worked at Goldman Sachs, McKinsey, IBM, and the White House.
But growing up as a first-generation high school graduate in rural Germany, he got off to a late start and was initially afraid of college. Instead of planning his future, Moritz channeled all his energy into video games. At age 16, he became the world champion of the fastest-selling game at the time, beating 13 million players to complete all levels 1 to 99. Only later—and with the kind guidance of his mentors—Moritz translated his laser focus to reach the “next level” into a broader strategy for realizing his full potential.
Over the past years, Moritz had the honor to advise on over $300 billion of strategic transactions and help Fortune 500 CEOs and political leaders including Elon Musk, Ginni Rometty, Michael Dell, and Condoleezza Rice on-site in more than 30 countries across America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia. He holds an M.B.A. and an M.A. in Education from Stanford University, where he graduated as Arjay Miller Scholar and served as a member of the Board of Trustees. Moritz is an Ironman and avid ultramarathon runner, including the 250 km Marathon des Sables.
